From constant anxiety to feeling present, happy and actually enjoying being a mom. This is the only anxiety course you’ll need, for any stage of motherhood.
I'M READY
Here are some things I hear every single day:
Insta-perfect motherhood has you feeling like this is supposed to be total bliss, but for you, constant worry, irritability, and feeling on-edge is the new norm.
You wish you felt more confident, grounded, and calm but lately this unsettled and impatient version of you is running the show. And that’s just not the vibe you’re going for, is it?
Moms come to me feeling disappointed in how snappy they are, concerned about the disturbing thoughts they're having, wondering why they feel so angry and on-edge. The usual culprit is unaddressed anxiety.
SOUND FAMILIAR?
Let’s reject the idea that anxiety is just part of motherhood and one we have to accept. It’s not. There’s no arguing that being a mom is a freaking world-altering commitment, but I’m no longer here for the “suck it up” and “suffer in silence” approaches. I’m simply unwilling to accept constant struggle and perpetually overwhelming days, and I want nothing less for you.
Had weeks pass by without disturbing thoughts about your child or yourself even once.
Woke up without that crushing anxiety about everything that needs to be done and instead felt excited about the day.
Felt like you truly enjoyed the life you were living.
Felt present and in the moment, rather than stuck in what-ifs or worst-case scenario thinking loops.
Went to bed proud of yourself, knowing you were able to roll with the ups and downs of parenting.
Knew exactly how to settle emotional storms before they take hold.
Ready to feel confident, in control, and like yourself again?
Welcome to The Calm Mom, your path through anxiety.
The Calm Mom is a self-paced online program to help you manage anxiety and overwhelm and feel calm, confident, and present so that you can get back to enjoying your life. Because that’s the point of all this, right?
Life’s too short (and too good) to keep missing out.
Based on years of supporting moms in therapy, I share the most useful info and strategies that’ll leave you connected to your present life and with the ability to move forward with confidence. Hello, freedom.
You'll leave this course with a deep understanding of exactly what is happening when you feel anxious, why you're going through this, and how you can find your calm no matter what season of motherhood you’re in.
By the end of this course, you'll be in a place where you no longer live in fear of what enters your mind, or at a loss about what to do when you’re overwhelmed. You'll learn effective tools to help keep anxiety at bay, so that your intrusive thoughts, self-critical inner dialogue, and perfectionist thinking can fade into the background and stop interfering.
Educational and skill-building programs like these are often as effective as therapy. In fact, I teach the same skills in this program as I teach my therapy clients. You’ll learn the exact skills that you need to manage symptoms of anxiety that are most common in motherhood. These are the keys to your mental wellness.
I give you the 101 so that you understand what anxiety looks like for moms, and why you're struggling. Knowledge is power.
And at the end of each day, you’ll be able to say, “It makes sense that I feel this way,” rather than, “What’s wrong with me?” Clarity is the beginning of big changes.
Most moms and moms-to-be experience intrusive thinking. I teach you why and how to manage the deeper issues at play, and how to step into a more powerful mindset so that you have control.
We’ll explore the foundation of how you come to feel safe and connected in the world, including early attachment, and how this plays a role in your mental health today.
I give you all the strategies, tools, and resources you need to manage your anxiety and settle your nervous system. You'll see that anxiety is totally manageable!
Your inner critic and perfectionist mindset fuel anxiety. I'll show you how to identify these patterns (plus other common unhelpful thought patterns) and replace them with a mindset that brings back your inner peace.
There are certain factors that bring on and intensify anxiety. I'll show you exactly what to avoid because being proactive goes a long way.
I teach you how to tap into sources of joy that are available to you no matter what stage you’re in. You CAN feel joy in motherhood, even if anxiety comes and goes.
To be completely honest, this happened to me too in the early days of being a mom. I rememberI dreaded nights but couldn’t articulate why. I had disturbing intrusive thoughts about terrible things happening to me and my babies, and couldn’t imagine even speaking about them outloud. My anxiety showed up physically, where I struggled to get a full breath of air but rather than understanding my symptoms, I thought I had a lung condition (thanks, anxiety).
Even with two degrees in psychology, I didn’t know that I was experiencing postpartum anxiety, and that sooooo many other moms go through the exact same thing. No one really talks about this, which is exactly why I'm here right now. It wasn't until specializing in perinatal mental health that
I was able to recognize my own thought patterns and how anxiety was a major driver.
In time, I learned that I’m not crazy. There was never anything wrong with me and I wasn’t creating the problem. I picked up some incredible skills that made a massive difference. I now support moms in my counselling practice and courses like these every single day, and I witness them transform how their life feels. There’s a way through anxiety. You can come out the other side of this. Promise.
The Calm Mom will transform your thinking, mindset, anxiety and overwhelm. I know because I've done it. It costs less than a single therapy session so I mean, there’s also that.
In these in-depth videos (15-35 mins each), I show you exactly how to make important changes to transform how you're feeling during this stage in life. Everything you need to let go of anxiety is in these lessons!
60+ pages of actionable exercises, writing prompts and tools to support your learning, this workbook helps you bring the concepts from the video training into reality.
The full set of 48 cards included in this course will set you up with anti-anxiety and self-regulation tools to practice every single day. Tools include evidence-based somatic tools for self-regulation. This resource isn’t available anywhere else.
I designed this course for moms who have little bandwidth but need help. The video lessons are condensed and break down the most important aspects of managing anxiety, without any fluff.
Overhaul your thinking, transform your perspective, and improve your mood.
Using affirmations is a great way to reprogram unhelpful thinking patterns and beliefs that make anxiety thrive. You’ll get printable pdf cards, as well as digital files to store on your phone.
I've written and recorded over 20 unique guided meditations and original EFT Tapping sequences that are tailored to the most common anxiety-related challenges that moms face.
Each module has several videos lessons, and corresponding workbook pages, to help you deep-dive into different topic areas.
You feel uncomfortable when people talk about the hard stuff (I don’t shy away)
You’re looking for a quick fix (I hate extra padding, but don’t leave anything out)
You’re not into trying new strategies (being open to learning and practicing skills is a must)
The odd f-bomb bothers you (I like swearing. It’s that simple)
You simply refuse to let these years be overshadowed by anxiety.
You love being a mom but you don’t expect that role to fulfill all your needs.
You’re totally up for learning and personal growth, but you want it to feel like a late night chat with an honest friend.
The odd f-bomb makes your heart happy and toxic positivity makes you cringe.
You’re tired of searching for help that falls flat. You want to get on with life.
You're a mom, life is FULL! I designed the lessons so that you can watch them in small bits, here and there. Each one is between 15-30 minutes. The workbook can be done as you watch the lessons, or afterwards when you find time. And, you can return to the videos any time.
No. This course is not therapy and doesn't replace one-on-one support. I include many of the same strategies and tools that I teach therapy clients, but this is an educational and skills-based program rather than a therapeutic one.
Nope, not even close. I love Instagram and sharing information wherever I can, but I barely scratch the surface with what I teach on my blog, social media channels, and free resources. That’s a good starting point whereas this course is a major deep dive and gives you all you need, in one place.
As long as you want! You'll have lifetime access to the course, as well as all the updates that I make going forward. Life is full, so go at your own pace.
No, not at all. This program is for moms who are feeling overwhelmed from their anxiety. The strategies that work are the same no matter how old your kids are, and I share lots of examples from many different stages of motherhood.
Maybe. You can find almost everything online. But my intention is to hand you everything you need in one simple package, and take the guesswork out of it. You can trust that I've done the research, the trial and error, and the years of education and degrees to know exactly how to help you.
